    I captured this image of a Anhinga with Artie while showing him Lake Morton and Lake Mirror in Lakeland, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nikon D500
    Nikon 80-400mm F/4.5-5.6 VRII AF-S ED, camera and lens supported by a monopod
    1/1000 F/8 Matrix Metering EV +2/3 ISO 900 Auto 1 WB, image captured at 400mm
    Post processed in Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC 2020 and Neat Image for noise reduction
    Cropped for composition and presentation

    Excellent HA and open beak.
    I might work on the upper beak just a bit, maybe a little contrast and sharpening.
    Maybe brighten the eye a tad?
    Nice Portrait, underrated birds....

    looks good from here, perhaps a touch of contrast...why doesn't he have a fish ?

    These are fantastic, and I would be stoked to have either in my extensive headshot collection. Exposure, detail, crop, head angle, blah, blah, blag are perfect in both images. The gunk and fish in the second are amazing.

    Well the second image is great compared to the first. Even though they are both very nice frames.
