    Default Yellow-headed Blackbird

Nothing very technical here, just a super-detailed view of a striking bird we don't see up close very often. I think this shot
is a nice complement to the wider view I provided yesterday. Passerine headshots are tough from resolution and composition
perspectives, but I think this one works decently. Cheers!

I think a 4 x 5 vertical would look good her with a bit more room above.
Always nice to get a snack...

I thought I messed around with this idea last night - and found the results odd/wonky - but I generated this when I tried again in the wake of your suggestion.
I think it looks pretty good. Maybe I imagined I tried the 4x5. It was late......

Love the contrasting colours on the bird with nice details. Good HA and the bug adds. I prefer the OP

Lovely portrait. The damselfy is great. Nice framing and background. I would take either version.

Nice either way, but I might prefer the 4x5 v. Good exposure and bug.

Beautiful image Dorian. I like the vertical repost, details and catch of the day.

Fine image all around Dorian. To nit, I do see a slight green tinge on the underside of the beak, a halo or artifact, however it's pretty insignificant and bird does not look overcooked at all.

Don't see many YHBB portraits, it's refreshing. Probably version B wins for me 60/40
