Daniel, so much love for this for many reasons. The detail and intensity of the main subject, the bright green IF and OOF accents around the image help highlight it's eyes, is that rain drops on the right side?

Just curious if there is any more room on the left? Feels like a touch more to breathe could help a tad. Even sliding image right until the tree trunk hits the UR corner?

So well done from my angle.

looks like an alien species from star wars! you are quite lucky up there with all these little cute owls! I feel jealous! In a perfect world the tree trunk would have been a bit cleaner , the part of the bark peeling off is a bit distracting but with such a rare bird I'd take the shot first and then think about it :)

What a great look!! Very nice, I also think it is tight on the left but you must have had
    something there?

Hi Dan, wonderful image. The little owl looks sad, grumpy and wet. What a great opportunity these owls are giving you. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Dan, cracking colour palette and the bedraggled plumage just adds so much. Another wish for more to the LHS.

That's one scruffy owlet. Great opportunity, well captured. Particularly since it was framed FF in the camera. The subject overrides any minor nits.

This is a very memorable frame! It is a great look at this funny character with only minor distractions captured under fully-wild conditions. I would take this any day! The details are wonderful.

    This is fantastic Daniel.
Love everything about it. 10/10 on the cuteness and the grumpy scale.
How I would love to have taken this image.
Yes to a bit more room LHS but not a huge deal.
    Love, love this one!

This one's head looks huge. Even bigger than the last. Love the framing and the pose. The hint of spring leaves is another plus. Really like the colors throughout the background.

    Daniel:

Outstanding for all the reasons mentioned. Yes, to a bit more on the left. What a character!
