    A shot I took yesterday, in fact I have about 20 or so like this.
    I think the end of the DSLR is a bit premature.
    D500, 500mm (300 w/1.7), 1/4000, iso1000
    A big instagram crop but a reasonable crop the Dragon fly is absolutely tack sharp.

    You did well to capture this dragonfly but the detail is just not there, probably due to cropping?

    Very well captured in-flight. Great head-on view. Love the crossed wings. Nice composition with adequate space in the front.

    Quite nice. The crop is too tight for me.

    Insane. I love the head and the tail and would be fine with a wide crop. Astounding.
