    Default Proud Parent And Child...

This is from a long time ago, 2013, when I first kindled a interest in bird photography. The year before the pair of Great Blue Herons built a nest by abandoned it. The year of this image the nest was rebuilt and two eggs were hatched. At the time of the image only one chick had survived. I keep going back over images that I like, today I worked up this image again. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Love all that moss hanging off the tree. A nice pose and view of the adult and the little one.

Almost like a painting Joe super.Especially like the details in the grain on the tree with the shadows and lighting is what makes this.TFS

    Joe:

Always fun to review older images, see if they can be improved with the benefit of new skills and software since first processed.

The tree is outstanding, nice poses by the GBH. The light is pretty soft, which helps with the adult being in the shade. Got to love the adults hair do!

    Cheers
