    Default Black-Necked Stilt

Here's another stilt photographed against a nice BG instead of the sky. I like the wing position and the eye contact here.

Beautifull, excellent exposure, perfect BG, and as you, I like very much the wing position. Might just give a bit more saturation to the whole image. Congratulations and thanks for sharing!

Great wing position, details, iridescence and BG. The whites look a bit gray, is this due to highlight recovery?

I see what you're talking about Axel. It's not from highlight recovery. The whites were held in the RAW file, and they closely resemble those in the photo as presented. I'll play around with it and see if I can get them looking better.

While you are at it, I think you could adjust the black point some, too. :)

Doug it looks as if this bird is trying some form of aerial ballet. Very nice.

Doug, the bg is good instead of a blue sky like you said. Perhaps a 16:9 crop would give a better feel to the motion of flight?

Excellent image Doug. Full wing makes this image for me.
