    Sharp with a good exposure. I wish that we could see more of those great tail tips ... The eye looks a bit funky and seems lost in the black mask. The cocked tail in the posture a somewhat awkward ...

    A nice perch and pose with beautiful detail. I suppose some more DOF would have hurt the background more than it helped the tail.

    Nice overall frame Dan.

    To nit, would be great if the leaves to left were a touch further down the branch so the bird could breathe. I recently asked Daniel about leaves covering birds on his rare owl and his point was valid; on more rare birds take what you can get but on something more common like a Waxwing there are probably more chances for the bird to clear.

    Arties point on the eye mask was valid. Maybe smooth that dark orange spot on left bkg edge as well couldn't hurt.

    nice frame, Artie nailed it. blocked blacks around the eye and a bit awkward tail position colors and details pretty good from here

    Ditto all the above. I will add that this Cedar Waxwing is really trying hard to look like a Bohemian Waxwing !
