    A trip to my favorite Kite spot yielded this capture.
    Canon EOS 1D Mark III, 500F4L, 1.4 TC, Iso 400, 1/2000 sec,+1 1/3 stop, 50% crop

    Very nice shot, I like how you can tell it's carring a chick, it's a raw reality capture, I like it a lot. I can see a bit of a sharpening halo, but nothing that can be corected! Congrats!

    Great job getting the shot nice catch for the both of you I can see you are already cropped quite a bit and left alot of open space leading the bird into the frame. I feel its alittle to much space but sometimes you take what you can get maybe next time the bird will be closer to you giving you more flexability on comp....;) Well Done!!!

    You were fortunate to capture this brutal moment. Good sharpness with reasonably good underwing detail. As James pointed out, I'd like to see the bird a little larger in the frame. Thanks for posting!

    The pose of the kite looks good. I think the crop is a bit wide and the light rather harsh. Not exactly enjoyable to see the little chick hanging there.
