I love it when this species does its' impression of a nuthatch. I got a few good frames of this behaviour recently. One of my favorite species of warbler!
Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/800s., f/5.6, ISO 1600, natural light, handheld, about 75%FF, darkened the pupil and lightened the iris to clean up the eye, NR to the BG only. Audio used.
Love the horizontal and everything else. This one is a 100% stunner. The pose is perfect and the feet are beyond amazing!
