I did not see the web at he time I took the images of this beautiful warbler sitting on a barbed-wire, but it jumped out at me while reviewing the frames on my computer. I thought it was a nice bonus!

Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/1000s., f/5.6, ISO 800, natural light, FF, handheld from my car, cleanup the eye. Audio used.

    This is excellent Daniel!
Love, love the spiderweb. Perfectly sized and placed- not too distracting from the star subject.
    Perch is nice and rusty.
    Great look back pose.
The BG seems a bit noisy and I see some magenta in the BG. I would do another round of NR and reduce the magenta by -1 on the BG only.
The OOF blade of grass could be blurred a bit more but OK as is.
Yellows and IQ on warbler are excellent,
    Gail

For a fence perch this as good as can be had, with the web as a bonus. Funny the thing that appear in a shot sometimes.
    Love the bird of course.

    Daniel:

Agree with everyone's comments. For a manmade perch, this one has some real character. Web a fine bonus, adds a bit more interest to the shot, more going on , so to speak.

    Cheers

I've seen spider webs pop up on occasion. This one is quite nice. I wonder if a little selective sharpening in that area might bring it out more? (Although that might accentuate the noise?). I like the rusty wire, and look back pose.

Looks great, love that rusty old perch. The spider web is really neat as well.

Excellent as expected. Would a vertical with the complete spider web be too much to ask? :). Great look-back head turn.
