    This image was created at Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge in Tyre, New York on 5/26/20 at 8:30PM. Image processed in Lightroom and Photoshop.

    Hi John, I like the image although not something I have tried or done yet. My first impression was that the bird could be blacker but then maybe I am all wrong never having done silhouettes. If the tail was separated from the perch I think the image would be stronger. Thank you for sharing.

    Perfect positioning relative to the sun, nice and sharp at the edges, intense and beautiful colors, all this with calling pose. With the aforementioned tail separated would be stronger, but I love it as is. TFS

    I too would go full black on the blackbird, but boy this is a high-impact image that I like a lot. The sun looks really neat!
