John I wonder if this is a Fatsia japonica, I don't know much about botany but I think belongs to Aralia family, I ask because we have a couple in our garden - hey maybe I should go out first think tomorrow because I am sure it will rain again tonight.

I like the image, colours are pleasing the hint of ruddiness looks great- I don't think ours have this. Yup - must go and have a look at ours tomorrow!

Great image! Love the details and the water drops. Great details. are the flowers gone? They were flowering just a couple weeks ago here. Flowers are hard to get as they are underneath the umbrella like leaves. Jonathan, this is Podophyllum peltatum, a native plant to North America. Also called Mandrake, similar to Eurasian Mandragora officinarum of the nightshade family. The leaves are poisonous, but berries are edible.

Only a few flowered that i noticed. We had several late frosts here. That's why i think the leaves turned that reddish around the edges.
