Love this canvas and only wish for better HA. Perhaps you could have taken less of the perch, but I like it as is. Perfect BG

Love the how the blue background and the lichen compliment one another. I could see this cropped a little tighter.

The perch is rather large, but also rather beautiful. The overall colours look great. The head angle and comp do hurt the image IMO. Zooming in at the full 600mm and pointing a bit more to your left would have been great.

Geoffrey, I love the setting here and the bkg but the head appears oof on this one for me with the head angle; maybe it's the eye being a tad blurry. I know the smeared appearance with the cheek feathers aren't helping it either... it's so close to being there.

What a great perch. Do wish the bird was as sharp as the perch, and would turn his head a bit.

I like the attempt at the wider crop, but the bird has to be perfect to command the required attention to make these frames work. He's already overpowered by the colors - in a good way - so the lack of direct eye contact really kills this for. If he was illuminated and looking at you, this could be killer.
