    Default Rainbow Bee-eater and Bee

I took a number of Bee-eater shots the other day. One of them shows a Bee above the Bee-eater's head with its beak open. I was going to post that one, but the bird is behind a branch and there are lots of distracting branches etc. So...I'm posting this one taken a few minutes later, with no distractions. Would have like the bird to be on a lower branch, but that was not to be. Went back to the same location this morning...no Bee-eaters around!
    Thanks for looking/commenting as always.

Very sharp and colorful details on bird and prey. Also love the BG and appreciate getting the canopy nice and creamy. Even with up angle, this one totally works for me. TFS

Beautiful bird and the bee really makes the shot. Bummer on the twig protrusion so close to the bird, it's a little distracting for me.

Thanks so much David...I value your feedback.
Brian: Yes, I agree and thought about removing it...not too difficult in PS...will do that soon. Cheers.

Great colours and catch. Well composed, and good. Bummer about the steep angle, but you know that already. I'd leave that protrusion in as for me it is not that bad. I love the detail on the feathers!

Well i think i can see why they call it a bee eater. Detail looks right on. Framing as well. Love the colors on the bird.
