    Default Rough-winged Swallow #2

Another frame of this tiny swallow.
They perch on a pile next to the pile the Martin nest boxes are on that I
am shooting right now so I get 2 or 3 opportunities each morning.
Getting them in the frame is great, getting great wing positions is harder since
I only get one in the frame each burst..

Hi Dan. First off, kudos for getting this swallow in flight. I've been trying for ages to get a welcome swallow at 1/8000th sec with my gear, but with little success at 400mm. They're just so fast and change directions so quickly. It's a little soft in the face area, but I'd be happy with that one! Cheers...TFS.

    Practice makes perfect!
I like this one but still prefer your last 2 images. Great BG.
I think I like this one a bit less than the others because of the near wing position.
Kudos on the technical BIF skills. Not sure I could do it,
    Gail

Nice to see one of these guys in flight. The background is right on.

Hey Dan, as someone wrote, you are on a roll. Difficult little buggers, I'm not fast enough to keep up with them. Nice background, exposure, details and color look good. As Gail mentioned the near wing is not as good as your others. Thank you for sharing

This is a great sequence you are putting together Dan. But I notice you haven't given this lot a run with the 300/2.8 plus1.4 which I thought from your previous explanations of the two systems you might have preferred.
