    Nice details John, but the DoF for me has let it down, as the muzzle needed to be sharp/in focus, especially with such a portrait like this. Personally I feel it's a tad too saturated, but you were there.

    My first thought on looking at the image was the lack of DOF , need definitely more here with such a tight portrait.
