    Just as I completed my last inch of army crawl approach, I got this "close enough" look from my friend. I created this one frame, to get said look, and put my head down and laid still for a minute. When I raised my head, it was clear we had an agreement. No closer and I'll tolerate you for a moment. I cropped this to get entire grass variations in frame for scale against my friend.

    On this one, I don't know that the tall grass on left really enhances things, at least from my perspective. You have the smaller one left of it for framing and I find it a little distracting.

    Also, this could be another pano candidate.

    I think I would crop from the top and take the sky out, and make it a more pano like Brian suggests. Love the pose on the bird and the FG looks great.

    Love the frown and the immediate environment. Agree on the pano crop as it naturally lends itself to below the dark woodland.

    Agree on pano to remove grey at the top and I would clone out the longest grass so that nothing runs out of the frame.
