    Default Female Red-necked Phalarope

OK, this is the third shot in this series. This is basically the shot Dan K wanted from my original, two-bird frame - no backing male and no black stripe at top. Both were achieved in
camera in this instance, and I really like the suggestion of habitat the reeds and their reflection offer. After this it'll be back to super smooth fore- and backgrounds.

    Canon 600mm f/4 IS II + 1.4x III on EOS 1DX2
    1/3200 at f/5.6, ISO 800
Processed in LR CC. Cloned out a few small irregularities on water and two larger black blobs at extreme upper right.

Man, I'm just soaking it in Dorian. The blue wake does so much for me as if the bird was not enough...

Absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous light, low POV and that lovely perky pose. No nits from me,

Lovely frame. Great light pose and setting. The reflection is another bonus.
