    Default Surprise!

    EOS R RF 70-200 @200 f2.8 1/5300 ISO 800 HH ,manual exp, Large crop.

As I was as close as I could get (can't wait for RF telephoto glass) and waiting for mate to come out. An RC jet took off right over our heads.

    ps
I used patch tool for flower heads too close to subject and gradient to help soften the dark shadows above. Thanks for all the help gents...

Sure does look suprised. A nice low angle. The crop works very well.

The upward gaze is cool and sets this apart from more traditional BUOW frames. I might rethink the crop to lose the gray stripe at the top. It does more to distract than it adds, especially with the already-beautiful green-yellow surrounds. Cropping
to leave lots of room above him was wise.

Again, have been enjoying these David!

For me as you scroll up, a story happens by way of imagining what he could be thinking or staring at. Thus, it feels like maybe removing as many distractions up into the beautiful green and then whatever (remove the gray, blend it, whatever) is a good bet
