If you look at the position of the buttercups in the image and the previous it shows how I managed the flight path in order to get predictability. I am currently working on the fly by mode, again 99% there - just not quite.
I made the background a little darker and more contrasting this time.

Hi Jon, the darker BKG I think helps, but I may have gone even a tad more, but avoided Contrast and do a minus dehaze. I know the yellows are Buttercups, but what is causing the sooty black blobs, they need to go, r can you mask them in the garden as the LH one is a little distracting/unfortunate on the wing. Try a 16x10 from the bottom RHC *RIP, I think it may be better? Is the GSW flying into the sun as I may doge and burn a little more in the wings to get some more tonality back in. kudos in your perseverance Jon, can't now get the owls flying any more the habitat is now preventing it as you have seen!!

Great grab. I'd have left the black blobs in. I'd be wrong, but I'd likely not thought to take them out! :) TFS.
