This is the same Egret as was claiming his territory in the last image. You can tell by the left clipped wing flight feathers.

Edited in C1P then PS (cleaned up some bkg and water foam). Bkg noise in DNAI.

Nice soft light, great wing down pose and HA. Also love the trailing golden slippers, water and BG. TFS

    Brian:

Nice eye, feet of course, full down stroke, angle in the frame and composition.

I would probably do a bit more cleaning of the water. I know there are a lot of quite indistinct spots, but a bit of additional scrubbing would be an option.

    Cheers

Nice pose, head angle and processing.
    Soft light, whites look good.
Messy water is tough, bad luck , hard to clean up this much. I would leave as is.

Perfect downward wing stroke, and the feet railing behind are neat. The whites look good, and details are sharp enough as posted. I love the BG, except for the lower third because of all those spots.

The down stroke pose is dead on. Detail looks good in that soft light. That's the type of light i get here ususally. The gradient in the background is another nice touch.

    Thank you all.

If anyone has suggestions for removing the spots other than spot healing brush one by one, please share

Lovely downstroke, and great trailing "golden slippers". I like the BG, and don't mind the smaller speckles in the bottom, but I might try to remove some of the oof light spots. (Wonder what caused them?) I don't know how to do it rather than the spot healing brush, or clone tool, with which I sometimes have better luck.
