Cropped from landscape (~40%)
NR to BG, selective dodging to bird, removed slight blue cast on bird, light sharpen bird only
This is really nice Colin.
I love the image design, sharpness and the great HA's o the bird and the fish!
Love that little fish.
The color balance seems to be off. I see a pink/purple hue on the bird. Is this correct?
I do not know the bird.
Other than the color cast, this is very very nice,
Gail
Thanks Dan, however just because it could be removed doesn't mean it wasn't naturally there. I hadn't seen this particular bird in my locality before and they can get stained a bit depending on the environment they have been in.
A really nice close up good timing, I may have been tempted to lift the darker elements slightly, the precise colour of the bird I do not know but I cannot help but feel the colour balance is slightly awry.
Colin, your images' IQ have improved by leaps and bounds lately. Great low angle here, and the vertical crop works very well. Even the fish is pointing the right way. Keeping working at it, and keep improving, way to go!
