    Hi Jon, as Dan said, the calling is nice, but the PP has let the image down hugely. The Blacks are not clipped, but sadly are masking the huge detail you captured in the under wings of the subject. If you have time then I would revise the file and be less aggressive in any adjustment you applied that relates to 'Black' ie Black, Contrast, Clarity.... I've seen it from the OP, so I know what you have in there.

    Another classic calling pose with perfect perch. Seems like too much contrast on this one. A wonderfully timed and perfect composition wise canvas. TFS

    To add to what Steve said, I found moving the gamma correction( in the exposure panel) to ~1.25-1.30 really opened up the blacks. It would be better on the raw file of course.
