    David:

I like their similar poses, exposure. Although I generally like the lowest point of view possible, in this case it might have caused the path in the background to end up behind the birds, which wouldn't necessarily look great.

    Cheers

I love the bunch of feathers on the tail of the adult. Very 'natural' looking image. A little more sharpening on the adult, as it looks a wee bit soft compared to the young one. Was the focus point on the young one....

Thanks guys for your valued inputs. This was manual exposure and the one thing I'm becoming comfortable with setting quickly. The focus point was on the flank of the adult.

Thanks for that David...The young one does look sharper than the adult bird here. Not saying the adult bird isn't sharp, the tail feathers, as I said earlier look real nice, just the wee one looks sharper.

I like this family image David. The exposure looks good and seeing you didn't get lower I would crop out the white at the top as I find it pulls my eye away a bit, TFS.

Yes, I think you are correct as the adult flank is in the focal plane of the colt and the tail feathers but the neck and head of the adult is behind that plane slightly. I'm going to post the next frame where they both raised foot together and I did slightly sharpen the neck and head of the adult a bit more for comparison. Thanks again for inputs and just love that kite series.

A nice moment. Also like the almost identical poses here. Light looks quite nice as well.
