    This time of year here is when the next generation are getting about.
    This is a juvenile Great Cormorant distinguished in particular by the brown back which eventually becomes grey/black.
    Also a more colorful face than the adult.
    The bird had just landed and the wings were still coming down.

    Cropped (~40%), S&H, light sharpen, PS2020

    Looks very nice Colin. EXP and details look good. Light angle was perfect. I might leave a bit more room behind the bird if you have it for the tail but this is a bit of a challenging composition with the head then so far in front. Very nice, TFS

    Quite nice of a low angle here. The light looks nice as well. Like how that near wing is raised up a little. Pattern on the water is pretty neat.
