Shot in local slough in Nd. See plenty of Ibis just real spooky here and always in the middle of a slough where you can't reach them plus the most weedy of places with distracting backgrounds.I have seen in Texas but not this plumage.Processed with Dpp 4,Photoshop. Comments and critiques appreciated.

    Wow, this is really good.
More room at the top, but i won't quibble, nice light, beautiful BG.
Does not look like much of a crop, do you have any with more room?
Shooting angle is terrific and I like the beak shadow.

    Wonderful light, colors and details.
Maybe remove that specular highlight lower left.

The light and POV are excellent!
    The iridescence rocks.
I like it as presented but could see a version with a bit more top and right.
    Well done Kevin!

Beautiful lighting on this specimen! The bird is a a bit tight in the frame, and I'd really prefer to see the head turned the other direction to better show the bird'd elongated form. As presented, we
don't get a sense of the species's elegance. The color and detail almost make up for it though!

Hi Kevin, beautiful Ibis. Nice colors and detail, background works well. I too think more room around the bird would improve the image, it feels a little tight. Thank you for sharing.

I almost missed this one! Amazing colours, and I love the raised head feathers and texture neck. Yes to more room if you have it, but quite an appeal image you got here.
