I would have like the bird to be sharper in this photo and I'm not sure whether the boy and water should be lightened.

In another shot, I have the boy in the water, at the edge, with the light shining off the splashes, but no bird. Liked both, but chose this one first.

HI Cheryl like it a lot !!! Very pleasing colors and good composition Maybe a different placement for the bird a bit more separation with the sun?

For this images I do like sharpness as you mention and also like stopping down to f 22.0 It will give that special look to the water with the sparkles. btw you can borrow the bird from this one :) Love this image !!!

I finally posted a picture that was almost OK!! hurray! lol

If I pulled the bird farther from the sun, will that make the wing tip look out of place since it has some of the sunlight overlapping it?

    Hi Cheryl,
I like your image. The colors are pleasing would also like to have seen the bird a little bit away from the sun, and your water line is a tad slanted...very nice image. I do like it...congrats...

Great image Cheryl. Agree with Harold about being slightly tilted. Has a very nice soft feel to it.
