    Default Pale-billed flowerpecker High ISO

A Flowerpecker gives me a glance as I try to get close to photograph it in low light. Not a great comp due to the thick branch to the right but mainly to get good IQ despite the high ISO. Wanted your feedback on it. Its a tiny bird maybe 2 to 3 inch long and very skittish. Natural perch.

Sweet little bird, nice BG and nice pose that is parallel to the sensor so bird is sharp throughout.
Looks really good for ISO 10,000 (or is that a typo?)
Not loving that big branch on RHS (as you mentioned).
I could see a version with the little thread of vegetation cloned out of tip of beak,

Nice looking bird and BG. Branch on the right isn't ideal as you note. Overall things look pretty good, although some of the finer details around the face etc have suffered a bit due to the ISO and you can see a bit of a plastic-y look in some sections. Ditto Gails' thoughts re vegetation on the beak. TFS

Really enjoying seeing all these birds. The pose is nice here as is the background.

Lovely direct stare and body position, and I think the details look really good for ISO 10,000. I also like the soft pastel background. The big branch is unfortunate from an artistic standpoint, but a nice look at the bird regardless.
