Another Parasitic Jaeger capture from Iceland in 2012. Also voicing a very loud distancing objection from its recently arrived young ones. C&C welcome.

This is a nice pose in a nice Iceland BG.
IQ not the best by todays equipment but a fine photo.

I like this, the composition and the complimentary colours are pleasing. The bird is in good focus and the narrow stretch of in focus earth really enhances and it keeps making me look and look again at the bird.

I like the calling pose and the wing position. Composition is good but IQ and details could have been better.

Great wing position and I love the environment portrayed. It shows the Icelandic environment perfectly.
I would add a hint more contrast and sharpening on the bird(but protect the whites on the neck) and bump up the saturation very slightly on the BG.
There is a dust spot/bug at the top of the frame RHS that should be evicted.

Nice Icelandic feeling to this, and a good bird. I agree with Gail's suggestions to give the bird a bit more pop.

Nice downstroke pose. Works well small in the frame.

Thanks Gail. Very good suggestions, and thanks for pointing out the spot.
