    Default Buffalos having a drink

Hi folks .... here is an image created at the Luangwa River in Sambia .
We saw the herd moving towards the water and we rushed to the river edge , waiting for them to come for a drink . Could not count the numbers of Buffalos .... just plenty in the hundreds .
    Hope you like it .

Love the side light and shadows in this one. Great job with composition and singling out these four. I love it. TFS

Nice capture Andreas! I like the light coming from the side and the raised front feet of the RHS buffalo suggests motion together with the dripping water and the splashes. Plus the light makes the texture of the middle buffalo's side stand out.

Nice view of these beasts. Like the mud on the rack on the one on the left. Nice setting with all that water.

You have done a terrific job on the lighting Andreas, the low angle really presents these animals wonderfully, I think this is a really good image, I'll forgive the two half buffaloes on the sides!

Good call on the time of day Andreas, like the caked on mud on the horns and the OxP's peppering the various Buffs. The trailing water and splashes make it. These guys are oh so dangerous, especially on their own.

Love the low POV, trailing water drops, with the the muddy horn and muzzle taking this up a notch, nicely seen Andreas.

Thanks so much folks .... for your kind comments , much appreciated .

Marc i was always very envious about your images from that place .... actually it was ok for me to see that place , but our sightings has not been that great as yours . Might be also down to the different way of traveling ... and the places I and you are staying .

    Cheers Andreas

Hi Andreas -- I loved the low POV , and the dramatic lighting , you have done a lovely job to make the most of the lighting situation. Liked the lovely detail sin there and the birds add to the scene. Really enjoyed viewing this one.

    TFS !
