Default Avocets - After Mating Dance

I recently posted a frame of these two mating. However, what was probably more spectacular was this little dance/ritual that was performed after. Not sure if it was the male bestowing his dominance over her or if it was a real display of affection but it was a bit like a sword fight with a hug.

    Anyhow...

Edited in C1P and PS. Took out a bunch of bubbles on the water and smoothed some bkg

Looks as if it's a beautiful display of affection you've captured in this frame, Brian. The quality of light is so nice even as bright as it is. Great low POV, and excellent background.

    Brian:

Very nice. Lovely colors and color harmony, unique pose, good POV. I might move them just a bit more off center, but truly a matter of taste.

    Cheers

Super behaviour I like everything - almost! For me the blacks are a little dense, other than that it's excellent.

Beautiful light and behavior and the eye contact between the 2 birds is pretty cool.
The kind of photo Birders love.

Quite nice overall. Really like the color on this one.
