Hi folks I do follow Steve .. to Africa and the cats .
Just keep staying on the ground .
This lion cub saved this head for himself ... leaving his brothers and sisters with the rest of the carcass .

Nice rack. Framing is right on. I like the pose on the lion and the position of the head in its mouth. Detail loooks quite good.

Again, clean and simple Andreas with good colour and tone. Interesting to still see the spots in the coat. Was this a fresh kill, or something that had been around a day or so? Personally I might blend that darker line in the BKG behind the head, just to soften it.

Thanks John and Steve ....for your kind comments .

Steve - a kill that happened a little earlier in the morning . Anette and me took the " wrong " decision in the morning in terms of direction ..... so heard about it and came late to the party . Only saw the leftovers .... Large Pride of 3 males , 4 females and seven cubs . So this was only snack !! Regarding darker band ... yes I could blend that in , Thanks .

Wow such detail and clarity in the cub's fur, I like everything in this image, to say the focus was spot on would be an understatement.

Hi Andreas, Great clear view of those intent eyes and as usual the fur/coat is over the top. Your PP on soft fur is always a treat. The wonderful BG could use a round of NR. TFS
