Local park reopened for green space but not during golden hour. So, as I arrived was informed park closed ( with many cyclist still cruising by on park perimeter roads). So I went for additional ride on local bike path green way that passes park. As I was returning home, noticed park was now empty. Snuck in very briefly to grab a couple frames. No time to crawl closer, thus 40% crop. Loving the RF glass.

Nice light and nice pose. I know this is already cropped. But maybe the bird would look better centered.

Sweet light and background. The eye contact is good, although the head angle warrants a more centered composition as John has suggested (or you could go all the way and shift the bird to the right and see how that works). The perch is unfortunate and draws my eye quite a bit, but there's nothing you could've done about that. The pose is great. Very nice overall, David. TFS

A good direct stare, well lit and one legged pose.
Perch is what it is as they say.
