Nice sleeping pose but I really do need open eyes on birds for my personal taste.

Nice image that has a soft or mystical light to it. Details look good. I personally would like to see more photos with the eye closed. I have posted before and not very well received. I get it the eye looks good too just another version. We don't always have a choice. TFS

Beautiful look at the breeding plumage, and I like to low angle blur you've generated. Oddly, I think the closed eye works here, the bird not doing anything anyway. Between the lack of action and closed eye, the frame
has a very relaxing feel. Clump of stuff behind is a bummer because the frame would have felt super dreamy in entirely high key. Super sharp though!

Looks good John, the bird is snoozing, nothing wrong with that, strangely enough I think the feet - or lack of them also works.

Hi John, I like this very much, nice soft colours, good detail, overall it has an almost etherial feel. The minimal look & feel works and having the eye closed for me, adds to the restful scene.

I can hear the gently lapping waves from here. Just a wonderfully dreamy canvas overall. TFS

I love everything about this one. The closed eye, the soft light, the image design, and even the bit of golden seaweed.
