Oh man, Kevin, this is a superb view of this beauty. Just wonderful feather patterns and colors. The FG and BG add habitat perfectly for me. Just a little more on the bottom for the virtual feet. You really nailed this beauty. Keep them coming... TFS

Nice detail on this one. Really like the pattern on those feathers on the breast. Light and low angle are right on.

Looks great, lovely light, pose, detail and head turn. I would have toned down/removed that whitish patch center right.

Getting better all the time, a little attention to the yellow comb would reveal more detail.

The detail on the face is simply outstanding, and I love the head-on view of the breast pattern. I agree you could turn the comb down just a touch, but the processing otherwise looks really good. My biggest issue - and it's pretty big for me - is the tail coming out of the head. Nothing you can do about that now though.

Really beautiful frame. The details and colors are awesome. I agree with Dorian re: the tail, but I would take this any day of the week. EXP looks great. I'm moving to Wyoming in a few months and grouse are very high on my list of birds to photograph in the area. TFS
