Gail:
Very nice palette, love the snow and buds, the fluffed up feathers, pose. Quality held up well for shooting through glass. Soft even lighting shows the details well.
Sorry that you are still grounded, but you made a nice glass of lemonade.
Cheers

Thanks Randy. Actually, the window was open. I changed my comment to reflect that.

Your attention to detail, like the perch with buds, really pays off in your images. Love this canvas overall. TFS

Hi Gail ... lovely frame and I do like it mostly . Nice colors and good tonal range .
The falling snow is nice ... for me the SS is not ideal . I would have preferred it way faster ( for single sharp snow flakes ) or way longer ( for more dynamic effect with longer streaks ) .... I hope you understand what I am talking about . Saying that without knowing if there was time to think ....

April 20? It looks frigid. Excellent snow falling frame, I think a bit looser crop would look good.

Always love a bird in the snow. Nice framing and pose. Background makes the snow stand out nicely. Had four inches here on the 18th.

What a lovely shot. Soft lighting enhanced by reflection from the snow I presume.
Excellent detail and good anticipation with the perch installation.

I like it the colours look good and details everywhere. I like the snow on the head and the choice of willow(?) with buds was a good one.

Nicely detailed bird and the amount of blur in the snowflakes is just right for me.

Late to the party but what a lovely capture. Bird looks excellent and is on a great perch. Falling snow works very well. Might tone down the HLs near the rump. A really nice frame across the board. TFS
