I like the image, it is a little tall for my screen. the darkest areas could, ithink be coaxed into revealing a little more detail e.g. in the noses and possibly in the moth of the one on the RHS.
I suspect the image was upon you before you knew it, I would have liked to have seen their paws.
You caught a nice moment of bonding, was there no way you could have gotten the front paws in focus? Those scars on the nose of the yawning one could tell some interesting tales.
