Brian,
I'm not the expert that others here are, but here is my 2cents. Absolutely love the colors, soft reflection, and the background. Personally I don't mind the body turn, but the eye seems a bit soft to me. I might have taken a bit more off the bottom, but....
Nice shot.

Arties crop is nice and the colors and water are terrific.
Tough pose to get all sharp, the head is a tad soft but acceptable.
Nice work.

Beautifully rich warm tones in this sweet light. Perfect look-back pose. Such clean water surface. The new crop is nice, but even better is the now level image.

Daniel, embarrassingly I didn't even catch the level issue
Ah well, that's why you guys are here!

You're the best Artie. Not sure how I missed the level, but liked the crop. Thanks for the effort!

Lovely image dramatic colours my only reservation is the super dark blacks, there is not detail there.

This is a beautiful frame.
You have fantastic light, a great color palette and the new crop makes it that much nicer.
Agree on a bit more sharpening on the head.
Well done,
Gail

Thank you Jonathan. I realized the shot right after this has better contrast and I did process with reduced black allowing more detail.

Thank you Gail. I feel like I just missed focus a tad but do you have a recommended trick for specific area sharpening - PS perhaps?

in the final step of processing use smart sharpen with radius 0.5 and amount 50 to 60 to make the face a bit sharper, be very gentle as it is easy to overcook it
lovely BG and light you got the pretty breeding plumage too with a bit more sharpening it should be on the money

Ari, this is super helpful. If you don't mind please, sorry for asking so many q's:
- This is a PS tool as I understand. After a little reading, do I need to convert the image to a smart object?
- Am I to assume a person would NOT have made any other sharpen adjustments in LR?
- Can I make this edit upon sending to PS from LR, and then re-save it into the LR stack?
- These recommendations are just specific to my image (rad 0.5 and 50-60) I presume?
- It seems these will enhance the face, but I presume other similar areas in the image too, correct?
