    I am not sure if this is the blonde bumble bee, in any case it is very pale because it is covered in pollen.. I used Procapture Low, focusing on the bee with 9 focus points arranged in a square, I waited for the bee to land and as soon as I saw it lift off I fired the shutter.

    Nicely done Jonathan. Just getting it on take-off requires good timing...and you did that.
