Wow, that's some stare! I like the eye level shot and the eye contact. Details and sharpness look good.

Wow Dan. One of my favorite raptors, nicely done!

Of course the tallest blade of grass is smack dab in the middle, but who cares and who will notice with eyes like that.

I'm still not an expert by any stretch but I feel like I might have taken a stab at removing the silhouettes of grass or whatever it is on the far left to draw max attention to the eyes. Cloning or content aware fill could help.... or hurt.

That is one impressive image, sorry to be repetitive but my first reaction was also wow! The image demands close inspection, super shot well done. Focus and colours look spot on and I like the grass, that must have been one heck of an experience.

Definitely has the wow factor. It would be possible to remove the taller blades of grass in Photoshop (definitely a challenge)...but possibly not worth the effort. Well done to get such a great image...and yes...those eyes!

She's really locked in on you. Terrific shot. I don't mind the grass.

Love everything about this except the OOF grass that crosses over the birds left side of face.
This is one of those rare times where being a couple of inches higher may have been better.

Excellent work again Dan, as already mentioned several times! Fantastic stare, ye the grass stalk is a pity, but as it doesn't cover an eye its not too distracting. Definitely one to be proud of
