Love the EXP, details and the snow (both falling and on the ground). The one dark spot in upper left corner could be banished or lightened. TFS

    Jerry:

Good points by David. Smaller in frame work well here to play up the impact of the snow. Well exposed. A few gentle applications of the clone stamp on the upper left and corner would soften it, so agree with David.

    Cheers

Sharp with a perfect exposure. The bird is a bit too far to our right in the frame as you have clipped the virtual tail ... In a perfect world the bird would have hopped up to the next little snow mound and showed us more of its legs.

Nice bird in some nice snow. Like the alert pose and the framing.

I love the wintry setting and cute well-exposed subject, but I am not sold on the square crop. If you have it, adding back some behind would address that and Artie's mention of the chickadee being to close to the edge (I agree). Lovely marbled BG, and the fresh snow is good too.

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. Artie and Dan, I hadn't even thought about the hidden tail, but once you mentioned it it makes perfect sense.
