Great bird.Never seen one .As usual a lovely image. Is that silvery white in the top half of the bird normal ,or a younger bird, but its very beautiful whichever it is.
Nice bird and pose. Yes to the perfect head turn. I like the wave in the upper left. This bird is molting into breeding plumage but has a ways to go; in full alternate plumage the black on the males will be rich and deep and the upperparts are brilliantly spangled.

Super pose and good composition, as mentioned there is a masking issue, I think there is s blue cast in the white head feathers, both quick fixes, a really pleasing image.

I like the bird, both the body angle and the slight walking pose. The BG is my type of frame with the extra interest, yes the masking around the head is a little off but its an easy fix if you so wish
