    This is one from the Isle of Islay, on Scotland's west coast, which I captured a couple of years ago. I think these Plovers are one of the best looking, especially in breeding plumage and good light. Unfortunately they are now an endangered species and have been placed on the RSPB red list.

    I'm loving the call and the surroundings, the iridescence is beautiful - peaches and cream Will.

    Quite nice. That crest is amazing. Nice low angle as well. The calling pose is another plus.

    Love the setting, pose, EXP and composition overall. The rocks, in and out of focus really add to the canvas IMHO. TFS

    To anyone who has watched lapwings, this is just a great example of their noisy behaviour. You don't often get them at this low angle, nice work Will
