Very nice....Lovely pose on the bird with beautiful colours and detail. The perch and BG complement the frame so well. Even the small feather stuck to the perch adds.

Hi Arash, an absolute cracking image, love the pose and a good choice in cropping wider, the whole scene has benefited, but I'm not keep with the blue, personal tastes.

You are so lucky to have these opportunities.

Really like how the perch almost makes an S. Background color is very nice. Framing is right on.

It really is a beautiful frame I like the calling pose and the background is really interesting. I noticed the collar but it was there and it's not doing any harm to the image for me.
Not too keen on the high intensity/brilliant perch I would tone it down somewhat. The yellows and oranges look very intense and I get the feeling that perhaps the image is a little cold, perhaps its just the grey/blue tinge to the feathers... but you were there and I wasn't.

thanks Jon, yes these are the colors of the mature female. The beak and talons are yellow (I don't see any orange on my screen) the red in the BG are wildflowers that grow on the rocks

    thanks and stay safe

A nice change to the flight shots, great calling pose and thanks for clarifying what created the BG colours - I've seen that BG on a few shots from that area.

Hi Arash ... very clean shot . nice head turn with the calling behavior looks good .

The upper surface of the perch does look very flat with no structure ... might be natural .

Are you having blue morphs of this species in SoCal ?

    Nice one . TFS Andreas

thanks Andreas that’s how a peregrine falcon looks like. It’s not blue rather grey with hints of blue in the plumage of the nature bird

This is stunning I think. Looks like iso200.
I trust you to make the color cast call, you were there and not

Neither one shows blue in the plumage to me, so I don't know what exactly you are talking about.

one is a male bird one is a female, taken in totally different light, not even the same location. either one is exactly what it looked like at the time of capture.

RGB and LAB numbers are never lying ... and will close this for me and move on , as this is really not important for me.

Andreas, consider this a friendly warning, your language is unfriendly at best, if I see you repeat this pattern I have to excuse you from posting on the forum. It's one thing not to understand a topic and disagree. it's another to accuse someone of lying an insult them it's not your first time
