    Default Scissor-tailed Flycatcher (2)

Same bird as yesterday's post. Lake backdrop. Full frame++. Clipped the very end of the tail in the raw file. Adding canvas wasn't too difficult. Final image was 34mp from a 21mp camera.
Cleaned up and added more perch. Straight size reduction for posting.

Beautiful and nice on the adding canvas. A man after my own heart. I actually like this one better. Maybe try a version with some BLUE taken out of the light gray head ...

    with love, artie

Great look at this beautiful bird. The exposure and detail look great, and the wide eye view really draws the viewer in. The entirely blue BG isolates the subject really well but does suffer from
lack of texture; without that, there isn't any habitat context, kinda like shots of birds against the sky. But that's pretty minor against the awesome look you afford.

Very nice....Lovely pose and detail on the bird and the thin perch adds to the image.
