    Default Fledgling Owl

    This pair fledged a bit early a couple of years ago near our yard, and gave me some photo opportunities. There is an active nest again this year so hope for more. Shot north of Bozeman 5/28/18.
    Canon 5d IV, 100-400 II @ 100, 1/200, f8, ISO 1600, handheld, about 80% of FF.
    Processed in LR and PS

    Jerry nice Photo of the owl details look good. Background a bit busy nothing you could do. Would be nice to see some in a rock outcropping as you probably have one around Bozeman. Maybe would try cloning out a few of the smaller branches especially the one coming out of the center of the head.
    Head and the eyes are what makes this . TFS.

    Nice view of this fledgling. The out of focus one gives the image some nice depth.

    Hi Jerry, PP looks much better, ditto WB and I like the perspective. Not much you can do with the HL's in the BKG, the arching branch works nicely. Adding just a dash of saturation just perks it up, lucky you could have got so close, albeit I would only do this once or twice. Well done.
