Pretty much perfection except for pose. Love that sky and control of and details in those whites. If this beauty was headed in exact opposite(180 deg) direction and head was separated form the far wing... But I think it's pretty killer as is. TFS
Detail on the bird is nice. Too bad the bird just passed you.

Love the pose and details on the legs, but the lack of eye contact means the image doesn't connect the way it needs to. Ditto on the bird being passed you. The front wing also needs to be higher, at least in an ideal world.
Even if the egret has passed you a better head turn would have made this work much better. Good breeding colours, nice whites, and I like the dangling legs.
