A love-it-or-hate-it type image, but fun to try stuff when you already have tons of images of a certain species. This lady was playing shy with me, but kept peeking out from behind the tree long enough to compose and focus. Most of the times she peeked it was from a different height, so I still had to be quick enough to find her in the viewfinder!

Love that it is sharp on the subject/eye, the just right OOF trees to define environment further, leaving some virtual room for unseen part of subject and the wood chips in the beak. TFS
