Excellent light, perch a bit messy but fine. Feet are great.

The light is sweet. I could see the bird a little higher in the frame.

The light is warm and rich, I just wish it had been more direct on the subject as most of the body is in shade. Luckily the head is nicely lit. Do you have one where the head is turned a couple of degrees more towards us? OK perch - the leaves add a lot of interest. Did you run NR on those leaves, or are they naturally smooth like this? The ye is not as crisp as I would have preferred, is this a large crop by any chance? I agree with Dan, the feet are awesome.

Thanks Dan, the only other pose he gave was looking straight ahead. The body is lit a bit more, but the pose isn't as interesting. This was my only trip to Florida, so don't even know what the plant is, but I didn't do anything to the leaves, so they must be smooth, LOL. It is about a 40% crop (a bit more than I originally thought), but I see what you mean about the eyes (they look a bit better on my monitor at full size). Thanks again.

you got a perfect HA, the low sun was nice but I wish it was behind you to avoid the deep shadow. IQ isn't great overall, a bit noisy and lacks details in both whites and blacks. it has a paintary look to my eye. in addition to the leaves the branches look very smooth also which usually happens when too much NR is apllied
