    I like the foraging position.
    I have never been a fan of that ripply water -personal preference.
    Nice light. The image could go a little bit warmer or have the saturation increased slightly.

    Nice composition, pose, well exposed. I don't mind this type of beaten bronze water surface. Agree with Gail about warming it up a few degrees.

    I kinda like the ripply water texture and love the pose. Yes to a bit of warmth.

    Beautiful capture John and love all the detail from the feathers to the legs. I sort of like the darkness gives that moody feeling. TFS

    An even lower angle would have been terrific, but that's just me. Sharp, and the egret very intent on its' potential prize is good. I like the little drops near the foot.
